Records work needs visible exemption labels, repeatable handling, and a clear result for every file. Excise supports that workflow while keeping documents on your device.
Put the exemption code on the page
Add a code such as (b)(6) or a case reference to a rule. It is
printed with the redaction on the page and tallied on the receipt. You
decide which code applies.
Reuse the search list across a folder
On Windows or Mac, combine the names, identifiers, phrases, patterns, and exemption codes the job needs. Save that search list, choose a folder, optionally include its subfolders, and run the list over the PDFs. The combined receipt makes the batch easy to account for:
- Every input gets a line, including files that need attention.
- The headline counts verified files, not merely files written.
- Each document's receipt is included in the combined report.
Check every saved copy
Fourteen supported hidden-data categories are cleared by default. Excise then reopens each saved PDF and gives it a clear result, so the receipt stays with the file it describes.
